Six blocks covering: your organisation, the AI system, your role under Article 3, Article 5 prohibitions, Annex III high-risk areas, and transparency and governance duties (Art. 4, Art. 50).
Provisional risk classification
Based on your responses, the software produces a provisional classification across the four risk categories of the Regulation, with references to the relevant articles. Final classification is the responsibility of the operator.
Document drafts to review
The software produces document drafts based on your inputs, including risk assessment, an Annex IV technical documentation outline, human oversight protocol and data governance report. Drafts must be reviewed and adapted by the operator before any use.
Statutory maximum fines under Article 99
Article 99 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 lays down three tiers of administrative fines. For undertakings the fine is up to the higher of the absolute amount or the percentage of total worldwide annual turnover for the preceding financial year. Article 99(6) provides that, in the case of SMEs and start-ups, each fine shall be up to the percentages or amount referred to in paragraphs 3, 4 and 5, whichever thereof is lower.
Move the slider to see the statutory maximum amounts applicable to each tier, based on the turnover you enter. Actual fines are determined case-by-case by the competent national authority under Article 99(7).
The figures shown are the statutory maximum amounts and are provided for general information only. They do not predict, indicate or guarantee any actual fine. Actual fines are determined by the competent national authority on a case-by-case basis taking into account all relevant circumstances under Article 99(7). This tool does not constitute legal advice.
